Lois Cormack is a passionate and dedicated leader in the senior living sector, with a career focused on improving the quality of life for older adults. As CEO of Horizon Résidences pour aînés, Lois is deeply committed to creating warm, supportive communities where seniors feel safe, respected, and truly at home.
Under her leadership, Spring Living and Horizon have grown to include 22 retirement residences across Ontario and Québec, offering affordable and personalized independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Lois brings a people-first approach to everything she does—championing resident well-being, building strong teams, and ensuring services are delivered with care and dignity.
With decades of experience in senior living and healthcare, Lois has held top executive roles, including President and CEO of Sienna Senior Living and President of Specialty Care, where she led major transformations and helped shape the future of the sector in Canada.
She has been widely recognized for her leadership, including being named to The Globe and Mail’s Women Lead Here, the Financial Post CEO 100 Scorecard, and PROFIT/Chatelaine’s Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs. Most recently, she led Spring Living to be named one of Canada’s Top Growing Women-Led Companies by Report on Business, based on a three-year revenue growth rate.
Lois currently serves as a trustee of Allied Properties REIT, co-chair of the RealPAC Senior Living Committee, and an advisory board member for K2X, a Silicon Valley-based health tech company. She holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Ivey Executive Program and the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.
Lois’s leadership style, integrity, and genuine care for seniors continue to drive her mission: to provide seniors with the respect, comfort, and peace of mind they deserve in this important chapter of life.
